- Gurunath Meiyappan suspended for life and banned from cricket for 5 years.
The CSK team official has been suspended for life from taking part in any cricket related activities.
Declared ineligible from taking part in cricket for 5 years,suspended for life from being involved with BCCI.
Raj Kundra suspended for life and banned from cricket for 5 years.
Chennai Super Kings suspended for two years from the Indian Premier League.
Rajasthan Royals also suspended for two years from the Indian Premier League.
- India Cement shares fall nearly 5 per cent after the verdict.
Question to be asked: What happens to the players of these two suspended teams?
All punishments commences from today.
Justice Lodha: BCCI has to give due importance to the implementation of discipline to maintain the reputation of the game.
No verdict on IPL COO Sundar Raman as the Lodha committee feels the investigation requires more work and time.
The BCCI now has to take a call as to whether the CSK and RR franchises will be bough by another franchise, clarifies Justice Lodha.
Still no clarification on what happens to the six players who were mentioned in the sealed envelope submitted to the Supreme Court earlier.
