Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson claimed two wickets in his final match as the second test against New Zealand ended in a draw in Perth on Tuesday.

The hosts set a 321-run target for New Zealand from 48 overs after declaring their second innings at 385 for seven at the WACA Ground.

New Zealand made 104 for two when stumps were called early with 20 overs remaining. Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor were unbeaten on their respective scores of 32 and 36.

Johnson, who was given a guard of honour by the Brendon McCullum-led side when he came out to bat during Australia's innings, removed both openers Tom Latham and Martin Guptill and finished his glorious career with figures of 20-2, Sport24 reported.

Australia are leading the three match series 1-0 after an emphatic win in Brisbane and will play their third Test against New Zealand in Adelaide on November 27.
