Star cricketer Virat Kohli is widely considered one of the greatest batters in the game. He has an impressive array of records and a reputation as a top-performing player. However, some believe that Kohli is misunderstood when it comes to his attitude. Sri Lankan cricketer Chamika Karunaratne recently shared a picture with Kohli and gave a succinct explanation of former Indian skipper’s attitude.

Recently, Virat hit his 45th ODI ton against Sri Lanka and led India to victory at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Unfortunately, the former skipper couldn’t continue his form going on in the 2nd ODI and missed the hat-trick of centuries. However, Kohli’s fanatics are expecting him to hit triple-digit score in the 3rd ODI.

Because of Kohli’s sheer dedication and passion towards the game he is being praised across the world even by other star cricketers. Yesterday, Sri Lanka’s star cricketer Karunaratne paid rich tribute to the iconic batter.

Sharing a photograph with the cricketer on Instagram, Karunaratne wrote a soulful message for the cricketer, shunning the critics.

"People say it's arrogance, they say it's for the cameras, some say it's for the show. The legend says he sees HUNGER. He says as long as there is hunger to be the best. You will WIN," the caption of the picture wrote.

Talking about Virat, he smashed 113 runs in the first ODI match with the help of 12 fours and a six and led India to victory by 67 runs. This was the star batter’s third hundred form three ODIs in Guwahati.

Before reaching his 45th ODI ton, Kohli was dropped twice – on 52 and 81 -, he is just four centuries away to level maestro Sachin Tendulkar's all-time record of 49 hundreds in the 50-over format.

Even after missing the opportunity to score his 46th century in the second ODI match, Kohli has his eye on the third ODI, which will be held in Trivandrum.
