Indian captain Virat Kohli and all the bowlers—Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, and Yuzvendra Chahal—had to give their best to register a victory over Bangladesh at Edgbaston on Tuesday.

Despite losing wickets on regular intervals, the Bangladesh team never gave up till they got all out at 286 in 48 hours, falling short of 28 runs chasing Indian total of 314. In the end, it was a sigh of relief for Virat Kohli. The match was never out of the reach of India but the fighting spirit of Bangladesh players ensured they were not ruled out of the game till they got all out.

The real moment

While going back to the dressing room the victorious captain Virat Kohli was greeted by India coach Ravi Shastri and other officials of the Indian side.

The camera following Kohli back to the dressing room captured confident Kohli shaking hand with Ravi Shastri and saying the magical world: 'Semis".

Kohli gave a broad smile and said nothing else. He met others, shook hands with them and said only one word: "Semis".

Yes, Virat Kohli was talking about the semi-finals, a spot India booked after defeating Bangladesh. Virat had just achieved the major milestone that speaks about the calibre and strength of the Indian side.

Virat Kohli and his players have worked hard to reach semi-finals and no wonder this was Kohli's top priority. Once that target met, there was nothing else but “Semi” in the mind of the Indian skipper.

Kohli is known to set new targets after every success.

Next, Indian fans would like to see him say only one word—final.
