IPL 2020: New ad campaign takes funny dig at MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma [Video]

The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick-off on 29th March with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings in the season opener at Wankhede Stadium.

The T20 league will slowly catch up with the entire nation and the broadcaster StarSports have emerged with the first ad campaign ahead of the cash-rich tournament.


IPL has seen some hysterically funny commercial campaigns in its course of twelve seasons. Such creative television ad have mounted up the anxiety quotient of the fans and also kept them keen and wanting more.

In their attempt to remind the fans about the entertainment in store for them during the T20 league and trigger the rivalry between various teams, the broadcasters have cropped up with a funny commercial.

In the commercial, the broadcasters have made fun of the big stars in the league. To start the jest between the teams, the ad took a funny dig at big stars like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, etc.

In the video the fan asked whether or not MS Dhoni will play for the CSK and when is Virat Kohli led RCB going to lift it first ever IPL trophy.
