The biggest festival of cricket is about to start and the world is getting ready for it. Fans are ready shed their light blue colour and don the vibrant jersey all over India. The 12th edition of Indian Premier League will start from March 23 and the world will take note of it.

This time around there is a good news for the fans of the league. Tata motors have announced their official partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Tata Harrier will be official car for the Indian Premier League 2019. As the official vehicle, Tata Harrier will be showcased around the tournament.

Tata motors have announced engagement activities for the fans in the stadium. The engagement activities include Harrier Fan catch, where anyone who takes a single-handed catch will be given Rs 1 lakh and a Tata Harrier car. Tata motors will also host the Harrier Super Strikers Awards for each match, where the best striker will win a Harrier Super Striker Trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.

The dates for 2019 edition of Indian Premier League has been announced by the organisers. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will play Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener on March 23 in Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium.

However, the dates announced are only for first seventeen matches, where each team will play a minimum of 4 matches each while Delhi and Bangalore will play five matches. Every team will play two away and two home matches with Delhi playing three home matches and Bangalore playing three away games.
