IPL 2018: Mumbai Indian's Hardik Pandya apologizes to his fellow team-mate Ishan Kishan; calls him 'mera cutie pie'

In a thriller match between Mumbai Indian's and Royal Challenger's Banglore, MI's young keeper and batsman Ishan Kishan was hit by his RCB's teammate Hardik Pandya's throw on Tuesday. After which Ishan had to be taken off the field after he was hit on the eye that knocked him to the ground. Recently, Hardik Pandya has apologized to Kishan and call him 'cutie pie'.

RCB's pace bowler Hardik Pandya took to Twitter and posted a heartfelt apology along with a picture of himself with much recovered Kishan. He wrote, "Mera cutie pie, Sorry Bhai! Stay strong."

In the face-off match against RCB at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, in the 12th over Jasprit Bumrah bowled to RCB skipper Virat Kohli. He pulled it to take a single, while Pandya picked up the ball threw it towards keeper Ishan Kishan and Sarfaraz was running towards the wicket. Unfortunately, he wasn't wearing the helmet and got hit by the ball directly on the red eye.

Kishan was taken off the field immediately and skipper Rohit Sharma handed the gloves to Mumbaikar Aditya Tare. The Mumbai crowd cheered the young cricketer as he walked off on his feet.

Ishan Kishan is 19-year-old left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, who plays for Jharkhand in domestic cricket and was picked up by Mumbai Indians in IPL 11 auction.

Well The MI set a target of 2014 runs to their Bangalore opponents who failed to chase the target letting Mumbai Indians registered its first win of the season against Virat Kohli's RCB.
