CSK vs MI

Indian Premier League started three weeks back and it has been quite an interesting journey. New performers have come up, teams that looked strong on paper were defeated by those who looked weak. One such case is with Mumbai Indians, the team was arguably one of the strongest one but its performance so far suggests otherwise.

Mumbai Indians are going to clash with the Chennai Super Kings tonight. The teams have performed in an exactly opposite way. While CSK has been winning the games straight away and their performance been overwhelming. Mumbai have been witnessing drastic losses since the very start of the IPL whereas, CSK have been phenomenal in all the departments winning 5 of the 6 matches they have played.

While CSK seems to have found the magic to win all the matches, Skipper MS Dhoni's attack on the RCB bowlers in the last match has made today's clash even more interesting. CSK displayed the depth of their batting after losing 4 of their wickets at a score of less than 100. Dhoni along with Ambati Rayudu finished the almost impossible chase with two balls remaining.

For CSK, today's match is just a chance to register one more win for themselves and confirm their berth in the playoffs but for the Mumbai Indians, it may be a no way back match. For, Mumbai has been consistently sitting on one of the lowest spots in the points table and a few more losses would mean the end of the journey to the IPL title for the defending champions.
