India vs New Zealand: Virat Kohli adds another feather to his cap with this record in ODI

Known for his batting skills, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli has added another feather to his cap by completing 9,000 runs in One Day International (ODI) in the third match and final ODI to clinch the series at the Green Park.

With this Kohli becomes 6th Indian to achieve this feat and he got to the landmark in the 37th over.


In international cricket in the calendar year, Kohli is the highest run getter and he is also the only player to have scored in excess of 1,000 ODI runs in 2017.

Currently, team India is playing third match against New Zealand and are trying to seal the victory as it the final match of three match ODI series.

He also hit his 32nd century of his ODI career in 96 balls.
