After winning toss and elected to bat first, New Zealand set 231 runs target for team India in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series against New Zealand at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Driving on brilliant bowling performance of pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the 'men in blue' managed to restrict Kiwi on 231 runs.
