India gave a dangerous message to other nations despite losing against England

After India lost their first World Cup 2019 game against England by 31 runs the entire sub-continent is fuming over an average batting performance. Many cricket pundits are not able to digest the fact that India couldn’t chase down 338 runs with the kind of batting prowess it has.

But what everyone failed to notice is that India sent a strong message despite the poor show of batting. If the conspiracy theories are to be believed then India still has a lot of control over its batting and the pace of chase. If we consider that India deliberately lost the match then the way they did it shows that they are in full control over their batting.

The controlled loss against England shows that it is not going to be easy for any team to face India in the final stages of the World Cup.

India failed to chase down 337 runs as they fell short of 31 runs at the end with five wickets remaining. MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav faced a lot of criticism for not firing up during the chase. After Hardik Pandya’s dismissal, it looked as if Dhoni and Jadhav are just there to face the remaining overs without losing wickets.
