During the third one-day international match in Ranchi team India will wear Army hats as a mark of respect to the jawans. Indian cricketers also congratulated the Indian Air Force after it bombed the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir’s Balakot region.

Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane saluted the Indian Air Force after the Balakot strikes. Ajinkya Rahane tweeted: “Bravo to the #IndianAirForce! They have sent a much needed message against terror. We are proud of you. Jai Hind!” Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted, “Our niceness should never be comprehended as our weakness. I salute the IAF, Jai Hind.”

The Indian Air Force retaliated after a CRPF convoy of 78 vehicles carrying 2,547 soldiers was attacked by a car bomb in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday. More than 40 CRPF jawans were killed and many others were injured. This is termed as the worst attack on Indian soldiers since Uri attack in 2016.
