The fourth ODI is between team India and Australia at Mohali, Punjab has really turned out well in the series and it is going to be an amazing game. The team Australia has boosted confidence after winning the third ODI, while India is aiming for the series-winning this match. Virat Kohli after winning the toss elected to bat first and the team India set the target of 359 runs to Australia.

Team India openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan came to open the game and after being targetted for their bad performances in last few games they really have turned the chapter. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan had a great partnership of 193 runs in 30 overs, till Rohit Sharma got out on 95 runs by missing his 23rd century in ODI. While Shikhar Dhawan really made Gabbar is Back with his highest score in ODI.

 

Shikhar Dhawan hit the 16th ODI century of his career and made 143 runs highest in ODI ever. It was also his third ODI Century against Australia followed by 100 runs at Nagpur in 2013 and 126 runs at Canberra in 2017. However, after Dhawan got out on 143 runs, then KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant took the situation under control with some brilliant shots. Team India skipper Virat Kohli who hit two back to back centuries in the series got out early on just 7 runs.

 

Meanwhile, KL Rahul who got chance by replacing Ambati Rayudu also got out on 26 runs and he became the 50th ODI wicket of Adam Zampa. Then Vijay Shankar showed some hitting shots and took the score of team India to 358 runs. Now the team Australia will have to chase the score of 359 runs to save the series either they will lose the series to team India.
