Indian Under-19 cricket team players are performing well in the World Cup. Indian team is considered to be a favorite ahead of the final match of the tournament that will played against Australia on Saturday. If India succeeds in defeating Australia, then India will kmanaged to lif the World Cup Trophy for the fourth time. Captain of the Indian team, Prithvi Shaw, would not let this opportunity go hand in hand at any cost. In addition to Prithvi Shaw, Indian team vice-captain Shubman Gill will also give his full efforts in his performance. In the World Cup, Subhman Gill has been the most successful Indian batsman in batting so far.

In the semifinal, Shubman played a key role in India's victory by scoring a century against Pakistan. Gill played an unbeaten 102 against Pakistan, thanks to the Indian team who managed to beat Pakistan by a big margin of 203 runs. Whenever Shubman comes to bat, he has a red handkerchief on his waist. After the match, when Gill was asked for the reason behind this, he called the red handkerchief his “lucky charm”.

“I've had it from beginning. I used to have a white one. But then in one game, an U-16 match, I changed it to red and scored runs, I scored a century. After that, I have had it for three-four years,” he revealed, after the semi-final win on Tuesday.
