Harbhajan Singh slammed former Australia wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist urging him to stop crying over his dismissal during Harbhajan’s famous hat-trick at Eden Gardens in 2001.

All this began after Jasprit Bumrah claimed the title of becoming the third Indian and 44th overall to take a hat-trick during the second Test match against West Indies. Jasprit Bumrah’s hat-trick delivery was given not out but a review reversed the decision. Adam Gilchrist was the second player to be out LBW, but replay showed the ball was hitting his bat first. There was no DRS during those days.

Harbhajan Singh hit back at Gilchrist asking him to stop crying over his dismissal during the off-spinner’s celebrated hat-trick at Eden Gardens in 2001.

“U think u would have survived for long if not first ball? Stop crying over these things mate..thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying (sic),”Harbhajan Singh tweeted.
