Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and Mansur Alk Khan Pataudi:

Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi is the only player in the history who has played for both India and England in the Test format. Pataudi senior had scored 100 on his debut during the Ashes at SCG and also played three marches for India after playing for England in three matches.


Mansur Pataudi or Tiger Pataudi, as he was well known for his undaunted leadership qualities, he led team India in 40 Tests after being named the captain at the age of 21, India won their first ever overseas Test against New Zealand in 1967, which was under his captaincy.

Vijay Manjrekar and Sanjay Manjrekar:

Vijay Manjrekar was considered as one of the best batsman of fast deliverys, as it was during those times when India lacked this kind of batsmen. He made his debut in 1952 after wich he represented India in 55 Tests and scored 3208 runs that includes 2 hundreds and 15 fifties.

Sanjay Manjrekar who burst into the scene with a bang, failed to live up to the promise that he had earlier shown with the bat, over all he had a decent career. Sanjay Played 37 Tests and 74 ODIs for India in which he scored 2043 and 1994 runs.

Sunil Gavaskar and Rohan Gavaskar:

Sunil Gavaskar also known as the little master became the first ever cricketer to reach the 10,000 runs mark which included 30 hundreds. Seen as one of the finest batsman in the world, the little master set many records during his stint in the Indian team.

Walking in the same path as his legendary father it was never going to be easy for Rohan Gavaskar. Even though Rohan did not achieve the same as his father did, the left handed played 11 ODIs and managed to score a fifty.

Yograj Singh and Yuvraj Singh:

This father son duo is a bit different from the usual, where the son went onto have a very successful career as compared to his father. Nontheless Yograj represented India in one Test and six ODIs.

Yuvraj on the other hand had a great career as he became the most explosive batsman that the world has seen, Yuvraj who slammed six sixes in an over to Stuart Board went on to win the T20 World Cup 2007 and the ICC World Cup in 2011, where he played an integral part for India.

Roger Binny and Stuart Binny:

The main highlight of Roger’s cricketing career was the title winning campaign at the 1983 World Cup, Roger who was looked upon as the most versatile all rounder finished the tournament as the top wicket taker with 18 wickets to his name.

Like his father Stuart is also an all rounder. Even though he has just played six tests and fourteen ODIs, he is best remembered for is stunning fiures of 6/4 against Bangladesh in 2014.
