Royal Challengers Banglore are going to clash with the Delhi Daredevils in a battle of the bottom-placed. With eight losses in their name, Delhi Daredevils are already almost out of the IPL while RCB are struggling at the seventh spot in hopes of getting on the track and register some wins in their name.
However, RCB are at present only a loss away from getting out of the tournament.
There has been some bad news already coming for the Challengers just before the high-voltage encounter against Delhi, Royal Challengers Bangalore have received a massive blow. Skipper Virat Kohli is said to be unwell and he also missed the evening training session on Friday.
However, Virat is unlikely to miss out on such important fixture in his home city. In case, Virat opts out of the game, AB De Villiers will take over as the captain of the team.
Banglore stand at the seventh spot and have earned only 6 points in 10 games played so far. After taking on Delhi, the Virat Kohli led side will face KXIP on May 14, Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 17 and Rajasthan Royals in the final encounter on May 19.
