CSK vs DD, IPL 2018: MS Dhoni's 'Men in Yellow' beat Shreyas Iyer's Devils by 12 runs; read the complete scoreboard here

The 30th match of the Indian Premier League between MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings and Shreyas Iyer's Delhi Daredevils was a shoulder-to-shoulder fight giving an eye treat for the fans. CSK came to bat first and set the target of 2012 for the Delhi's Devilians. Unfortunately, after giving a knuckle fight to the CSK's the DD failed to chase the target and lost the match by just 13 runs. Shane Watson becomes a man of the match.

CSK's star batsmen Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis came to open for the team and played an awful inning. Watson chased 78 runs in 40 balls by hitting 4 fours and 6 sevens. While Suresh Raina failed to shine today. The CSK's skipper MS Dhoni scored 51 and Rayudu played well and scored 41 runs by having a commendable partnership. Well, DD's bowler Amit Mishra, Shakar and Maxwell took 1 wicket each of the CSK.

The DD's Prithvi Shaw and Colin Munro came to open for the team and failed to give a good start to the team. While the star performer Rishabh Pant did it well and scored 79 runs from 45 balls. Pant hit 7 fours and 4 sixes. Vijay Shankar also played well and chased 54 unbeaten. While CSK's bowler gave no room to DD's batsmen to score runs eyeing to win the match. KM Asif took 2 wickets of DD while Harbhajan Singh and Lungi Ngidi took one wicket each. CSK won the match by 13 runs.
