Bad news for cricket fans, India vs South Africa first T20I match delayed

India and South Africa are playing a bilateral series starting from today. But the fixture has come to a halt even before the first ball is bowled. The first T20I match was supposed to start at 7 pm but the toss is delayed because its pouring in Dharamshala. Rain has delayed the match and both the captains are still waiting in the dressing room despite the time for the toss has long passed.

India and South Africa will be playing a three-match T20I and Test series. South Africa will be playing their first ICC World Test Championship match against India in India and it is not going to be an easy challenge for them.


India is playing many youngsters in the series against South Africa. Spinners like Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have been kept out and players who performed well in the Indian Premier League are being tried before the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

India is playing Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Washington Sundar, Shreyas Iyer, Khaleel Ahmed, Navdeep Saini and Deepak Chahar. Hardik Pandya will make his comeback into the team after a break from cricket. Hardik last played for India in the World Cup 2019.
