Did observing Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar help Sonakshi Sinha for Akira? The actress tells all

After being paired with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in action entertainers like Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore, Sonakshi Sinha is now gearing up for Akira, where she will be seen kicking some serious butt!

The trailer of Akira presents Sonakshi Sinha as a rebel who fights for what she thinks is right. In an interview, the actress revealed that observing action stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar helped her in getting the basics right in terms of action. She said,

"Honestly, observing them in all the films that I have done with them has really helped me. I used to watch them doing their action scenes and think when will I get a chance to do it. That happened in Akira. These people having been doing action for so many years and do such good action that it is a treat to just watch them. I feel like I have applied whatever I have seen and learnt in this film."

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Akira is slated to hit the big screen on 2 September, 2016.
