Woman breaks down in tears after man asks her to leave gym; know shocking reason
An embarrassing moment happened with a woman who was asked to leave the gym while she was doing her workout session. She broke down in tears and recorded a video in the car park of her gym and revealed what exactly was happened to her.
TikTok user Shelby (@shelby.bellz) told in her video that a gym manager interrupted her workout and asked her to leave. She broke down in tears while revealing the details of the incident which left her ashamed and upset. Shelby claimed that the gym manager asked her to leave the gym because of her crop top which was showing her belly.
Here’s what the woman said:
“So I just went to the gym and the lady at the front desk said they have a policy, you're not allowed to wear sports bras to the gym, that you 'can't be showing your belly."
“It’s fine for this time, but just so you know for next time,” the front desk lady told.
While recording the video, Shelby also showed her outfit due to which she was asked to leave the gym. She was wearing a long black sports bra and high-waisted leggings. Only a small portion of her belly was visible.

Shelby continued, "I said OK that’s fine. I went to do my workout, I’m 15 minutes in on the treadmill and the program coordinator came up to me and asked me to leave." After saying this, the TikTok user started crying and said, “I am so embarrassed.”
After Shelby's video surfaced on the social media platform, many users argued that it is normal for gyms to have a dress code. In response, Shelby replied, “To the people who were commenting that I was being overdramatic, you just have to remember that for some people it takes so much courage and confidence to get up the gall to go to the gym."

She further revealed that why she felt that she was fat-shamed at the gym. “The only reason that I really tagged 'fat shaming' is because I genuinely believe that if that was a smaller woman standing there at the counter, that they wouldn't have said that to her; 'Well we can't have our bellies hanging out. I genuinely believe that that wouldn't have been said."
However, many viewers have supported Shelby’s feelings and agreed that it was not okay.
One of the users commented, “Oh honey don't be embarrassed they should be embarrassed. I would name and shame them. Don't cry, just remember you're beautiful and strong.”
