RPF constable saves passenger from slipping into tracks; video will give you the shivers

A spine-chilling video has surfaced on the Internet in which an RPF constable can be seen saving the life of a passenger who fell while trying to step out of a moving train.

The incident took place at Borivali Railway Station in Mumbai on June 29. In the clip, the constable and another man are seen rushing to help the man and pulled him immediately.

The CCTV footage was released by central railway officials.

The video has also been tweeted by news agency ANI along with a caption, “An RPF constable saved the life of a passenger who fell while trying to get down from a running at Mumbai's Borivali Railway Station on June 29. The passenger was dangerously close to the gap between the train & platform when the constable pulled him away: Central Railway”

Kudos to the RPF constable and another man who saved the man at right time and a major mishap was averted.


According to Central Railway, the passenger had a narrow escape as he was close to the gap between the train and platform. Meanwhile, netizens are hailing the RPF constable for his brave act while some slamming the man for getting down from the moving train.

A user wrote, “Good work by the #RPF Constable. But the issue of irresponsible & dumb passengers on our railways will always persist.”

“He was really close to death..Thanks to constable, an important life was saved,” another commented.

Meanwhile, the video of the RPF constable saving the life of a passenger has gone viral and it has garnered over 33k views, 1k likes on Twitter.
