Know what happened after a car hit the journalist...

The woman journalist named Tori Yorgey of WSAZ- TV was reporting about the news of a water main break in Dunbar, West Virginia. Before Yorgey could start talking about the situation, a grey pickup truck hit her from behind and she was knocked down on the road.

As the incident took place very fast, therefore, veteran news anchor Tim Irr could not understand what exactly happened. However, Yorgey was quick to get up and informed everyone that she is ok and didn’t suffer any injury.

“Oh my god!” she exclaimed. “I just got hit by a car but I’m ok. I just got hit by a car but I’m ok, Tim.”

“That’s a first for you on TV, Tori,” Irr responded.

In the video, the voice of another woman, probably that of the vehicle driver, asked Yorgey whether she is fine or not. To which, the reporters told her that she is fine.

“Yeah, you know, that’s Live TV for you. It’s all good. I actually got hit by a car in college too just like that. I am so glad I’m ok,” she continued with a chuckle.

“You are ok. We’re all good.” Yorgey said. “Ma’am, you are so sweet, and you are ok. It is all good,” she said in what was dubbed as a ‘surreal moment’ on live television.

“Have you bumped down low Tori or were you hit up high? I couldn’t really tell… I just saw you disappear out of the screen,” the studio host enquired. “I don’t even know Tim. My whole life just flashed before my eyes,” the journalist replied.

Ever since the video is circulated on social media, netizens including many journalists were worried about her well-being. The video has garnered 1.5 million views, 3,196 retweets, and 14.5k likes on the micro-blogging site.
