After the implementation of the Motor Vehicles Act, traffic police has been maintaining the traffic rules and also punishing violators by giving challans. On the occasion of Christmas Day, Goa Police have found a unique way to control the traffic rules.
Ahead of Christmas, police have offered chocolates instead of giving fine on Tuesday in Panaji. As shown in the picture, traffic police were seen in the costume of Santa Claus.
To create awareness about the importance of motor vehicle norms, Goa Police opt for this unique method.
The pictures of this traffic rules awareness campaign were shared on the official Twitter handle of Chief Minister of Goa.
“Christmas is here. #Goa Traffic Cops turn Santa Claus, penalize traffic violators by offering them sweets,” the caption reads.
