Horrifying footage has surfaced on the Internet which showed a man was left hanging in the air after his parachute got caught on a helicopter’s tail rotor.
Reportedly, the incident took place in the village of Kashtak, in the Russian region of Zabaykalsky Krai.
The clip of the incident is doing rounds on the Internet which shows a man hanging on the helicopter’s tail rotor.
The whole incident was captured by a resident named Maxim Stefanovich from a good distance and immediately informed the police and the military about the man’s condition.
Now, he uploaded the video on social media. Initially, Stenfanovich thought that it was a part military team testing some new equipment. But, he left terrified after he zoomed his camera and saw the man was in trouble.
The man revealed that it was minus 20 degrees outside and the man might have suffered frostbite.
According to Stefanovich, “I immediately called the police and asked them to contact the military as quickly as possible.”
“I was thinking about how the man's health was, he was probably suffering from frostbite. It was minus 20 degrees Celsius out there,” Stefanovich said.
Luckily, the parachutist was not injured in the incident and was brought down safely, a news report confirmed.
