Amazing: Rock floating in the air?
This picture is a good example of an optical illusion that manages to distort reality, at least initially.
When you first see the picture, you observe a rock floating in the air. But when you pay more attention, reality starts taking a new dimension, at least for most of us.
This pic shared on X has evoked many responses and technical explanations for the confusion that the optical illusion creates for us.

Klara Paulovits @EnsKlara writes: If you zoom in on the rock, you can see the water line on the darkest side of the rock! Clouds are reflecting on the water!
One user comments: The reflection is of the sky, it appears that the rock is floating amongst the clouds. One ripple would change that effect.

Shukela @ishmaelsizwe: The water is taking the reflection of a cloudy sky thus making the rock appear floating in the sky.
