  • Recently ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi released an audio clip seeking muslims to join the crusade as ISIS has been facing numerous attacks.
  • Muslims however had a field day trolling ISIS on Twitter.

Islamic State, the terror organisation known for beheading innocent civilians and seeking formation of a caliphate, has made a major social media goof-up that blew up on its face rather acerbically.

Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi recently released a 24-minute audio clip seeking Muslims to join the crusade for IS has been facing numerous attacks from Iran, Iraq, US, Russia and other countries that are targetting the terror group. Muslims around the world, however, had a field day trolling IS on Twitter.

Baghdadi said the IS is surrounded by enemy forces on all sides now, and it's extremely important for Muslims of all roots to join their cause. In his first transmission since May, he threatens Israel in this clip before adding that since IS is now surrounded by enemies on all sides and that Muslims of all stripes should join their crusade.

"We urgently call upon every Muslim to join the fight, especially those in the land of the two shrines (Saudi Arabia), rise," al-Baghdadi says in the recording.

In a rather fun and surprising turn of events, the Muslim population decided it best to mock IS instead of joining the war, and instantly took to Twitter to troll.

Sorry ISIS, You're out of luck on Twitter-verse.
