A 32-year-old Bangladeshi journalist, Suborna, was on Tuesday hacked to death by unknown assailants at her home in Pabna city.

Suborna, who was the mother of a nine-year-old girl and had recently split with her husband, was a correspondent for the private channel, Ananda TV, and the Daily Jagroto Bangla newspaper. She succumbed to her injuries while she was being taken to a hospital by locals.
