At a time when the world is battling the coronavirus, a shocking video surfaced the Internet in which a doctor can be seen attacking a group of teenage girls and also even strangled one of the girls for not maintaining the social distancing amid COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

The 57-year-old doctor has been identified as John Rademaker who is a physician in Louisville, Kentucky. However, after he was identified in the viral clip, police arrested him and charged with strangulation among other charges.

His clip was first shared on Reddit with a caption, “Man strangles teenage girl for failing to social distance.”

The footage showed how Rademaker approached a group of teenage girls sitting on a picnic blanket. However, it was not clear what all happened before the camera started rolling, but one of the girls can be heard saying to the doctor that they are leaving.

‘Please, let’s not cuss at each other,’ the teen said in the footage to Rademaker, who responds by calling one of the girls an ‘a****le.’

However, the doctor was also with an unidentified woman, is then seen showing three of the girls before pinning a fourth girl to the ground as she screams in terror.

Before the clip ended, one of the girls pleaded Rademaker, shouting, ‘seriously, get off her’.

On Tuesday, the Louisville Police Department said that they identified Rademaker and also got arrested. He has been charged with strangulation and three counts of harassment with physical contact after he ‘without consent…applied pressure to the victim’s throat and impeded her breathing,’ police wrote.

According to the statement given by a Louisville police spokesperson to NBC, ‘Obviously, we do not advise individuals concerned about social distancing to take matters into their own hands and confront people about it, especially in any physical way’.
