What Nia Sharma and Ishqbaaaz actress Reyhna Malhotra said about their liplock video will shock you!
Television's one of the hottest actress Nia Sharma who also happens to be Asia's one of the sexiest woman always remains in the limelight for one or the other reason and this time it was because of a liplock video of hers that went viral with her close friend and Ishqbaaaz actress Reyhna Malhotra. The video was from a Holi party that the two of them attended and it happened during the media interaction.
This isn't the first time that the two have kissed each other on the public platform but in the year 2015, the two were caught kissing on the sets of Jamai Raja and posted it on the social media which later had to be removed after they were brutally trolled by everyone. Yet again her fans are confused and wanted to know if they both are lesbians and are dating each other or not.
The kiss this happened happened was from the Holi party where Reyhna reached late and in apology to which she kissed her. Soon the video went viral on the social media like wildfire. Now both the actresses have finally opened up about the whole scene and have requested their fans to not make a controversy out of a simple kiss that happened between friends.
Nia in an interview said, "A simple kiss is being made into a big thing. There is no controversy here for God’s sake, people should understand that. But we can’t control the trolls or people who termed this kiss as something else, because both of us know that it was out of pure love for each other. Reyhna is like my cousin. After five years of knowing her, I have a deep bond with her. Also, if I can wish Happy Holi and kiss my mom on the lips, why not my best friend who is like my cousin? This is only a friendly kiss and I don’t think I could care more about how people interpret it.”
Reyhna also during the interview opened up about the same and said that she is like a sister to her and she is shocked to see why such a fuss is being created about the same. She said that the kiss was purely out of love and concern for her late arrival and that is why she returned it back. She said, "It was just pure love for her and people should not read more into this. It is not a lesbian act at all. If you can kiss your sister on the lips, a girl friend who is very special deserves a similar kiss on a festival day.”
