Sanjivani 2: Ishqbaaaz fame Surbhi Chandna to go on AIR on this date but what producer Siddharth Malhotra said is shocking!
The popular Star Plus show Ishqbaaaz became popular because of a lot of reasons, one of which being the lead characters of Shivaay Anika played by Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna onscreen. Post the show, the fans got upset but soon the good news came that said that the actress would soon join the cast of Sanjivani 2 which happens to be the remake of the cult medical drama of the year 2002.
There were also reports about Nakuul getting the lead role opposite in the show but soon reports started pouring in that not him but Namit Khanna would act opposite her but no confirmation from the side of the makers. The producer Siddharth Malhotra in an interview that he gave said, "All conjecture about the show right now is just that, conjecture. There is no Surbhi Chandna or a Namit Khanna or a Nakuul Mehta that has been signed up for the show as yet."

The fans are very excited for the show and are eagerly waiting for the show to AIR and here's a good news that the show might go on-air in the month of July. Talking further about the show, the producer said, "We are still writing the first five episodes and the dialogues are yet to be finalized. We haven't gotten any confirmation from the channel just as yet. We are planning to lock the cast and the contracts by this month's end."

The remake will also have Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli who previously played the role of 'Dr. Shashank' and 'Dr' Juhi' in the original show. Sanjivani even had a second part in the form of Dill Mill Gaye starring Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, Karan Wahi, Shilpa Shukla among others.
