Remember Sanjivani? The show is returning with this Ishqbaaaz actress playing the lead role!
Do you remember the popular cult medical show Sanjivani? The show that starred Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Behl, Mihir Mishra and Rupali Ganguly in the lead role showed various medical dramas in the year 2002 and now it will becoming back on the small screen again with a fresh cast. As per the latest reports pouring in, it is being said that Surbhi Chandna, who rose to fame through Star Plus' show Ishqbaaaz will be seen donning the lead role this time.
The show Sanjivani ran for about three years and later came up with a sequel titled as Dill Mill Gayye that had a huge cast including Sukriti Kandpal, Karan Singh Grover, Jennifer Winget, and many others. The show became a huge hit amonst the youth and now it is being said that the makers have approached Surbhi to play a very important role in the remake of Sanjivani. Sounds exciting, right?
Surbhi, was last seen playing the role of Anika in Ishqbaaaz opposite Nakuul Mehta who played the role of Shivaay in the show. The show became a hit, all thanks to the sizzling chemistry between the two. Surbhi got alot of appreciation for her work so much so that when she left the show people demanded justice for her and various hashtags such as #ENDISHQBAAAZ and #NOSURBHINOISHQBAAAZ started trending on the social media.

Surbhi,however, bid goodbye to the show because of the generation gap and the role of the mother which she wasn't ready to play. The story took a twist and from Shivaay Anika love story, the focus drifted to Shivaansh's (who happens to be their son) love story. Recently, a new entry Mannat (played by Niti Taylor) happened in the show and which worked wonders for the show.
Well coming back to Surbhi, ever since she has bid the show goodbye, she's been enjoying her free time travelling places with her friends or alone.
