Daily soap 'Naamkaran', which featured late actress Reema Lagoo as antagonist Dayawanti Mehta, cancelled the shoot for a day, soon after they received the news of the sudden demise of their co-star.

The demise of perhaps the most celebrated mother of Indian cinema left her fans and co-stars in a state of shock.

Gulfam Khan, who plays the role of Fatima Bano in the serial, told a leading news daily that until Wednesday evening, the late actress was healthy and was shooting with them till 7 p.m.

Recalling the memories with spent with the 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' star, her co-star Zain Imam from 'Naamkarann' took to Instagram and wrote, 'A very humble human being. I still remember I used to tease you and that pat u would give me on my back. A godmother to half of #bollywood and a mentor to us. It was indeed a pleasure working with u ma'am #rip #Reemalagoo Ji # May u shower ur blessings on us from heaven P.s:I would still remember u as kokkie ji from #shreemaan shreemati Love you, ma'am'
