KumKum Bhagya: After Puncch Beat, will Priyank Sharma play this special role in Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's show?
Zee TV's one of the popular daily soap that has been going on for quite a long time, KumKum Bhagya will finally see the generation leap of 20-25 years which was decided by the makers of the show quite sometime back. Many actors of the show quit following their 'no ageing on the screen' rule later which were left only Sriti Jha (who plays the role of Pragya) and Shabbir Ahluwalia (who plays the role of Abhishek). And now it is being said that there will soon be an addition in the list of actors and he is none other than Priyank Sharma.
Yes, the news might be true. As per the latest reports doing rounds on the internet, Priyank who was last seen in Puncch Beat has been roped in by the makers of the show to play the crucial role of Abhi and Pragya's son. The recent storyline showcases the kidnapping of their daughter Kiara, which will be done by Tanu and Nikhil, later which she will be murdered. Pragya will blame Abhi for the same and will part ways with him.
Later, she will deliver twin babies and leave one of them with Abhi to take care and the role of the two sons will be played by Priyank Sharma and Kunwar Amar and the former will be the one who will stay with Abhi. There has been no confirmation from the actors' side about signing the show but the reports are quite strong that it will happen. The fans have already got excited and want to see the leap soon.
A closed source from the show said, "Priyank will play one of the sons, who will stay with Abhi. The final decision has been taken." Priyanka too was contacted and asked about the same to which he replied, "Nothing is confirmed as of now." It is being hoped that this twist will add fuel to the TRPs of the show that have gone down from quite some weeks.
Talking about Priyank, the 25-year-old handsome hunk started his career through Roadies, later which he took part in Splitsvilla and later on became a popular contestant of Bigg Boss 11. He made his acting debut through Alt Balaji's Puncch Beat, and was also seen in the song Buzz. If he joins the show, it will be Priyank's debut in the Television daily soaps.
