Kulfii Kumarr Bajewala actress Shafaq Naaz expresses views on ‘Halala As I Am A Muslim’
Shafaq Naaz who was last seen in Kulfii Kumarr Bajewala is soon making her digital debut with Halala which is based on Nikah Halala. She made her TV debut with Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai has come a long way in her career with her upcoming series which a controversial issue she is likely to give an insight into the atrocity of Muslim females who are a divorcee.
When asked Shafaq about her reviews and what does she think about this custom to this she said that she is against this law of Nikah Halala she expressed her emotions towards the females who actually had to go through this she said that she went through a lot of mental trauma. Whenever she used to shoot automatically her thought use to wonder about the females who are going through this.
Shafaq is gearing lots of attention through her series she is getting appreciated for her acting skills but is also being criticised for her role when asked Shafaq about this she said that she was prepared for this rather she was shocked that more than that people are appreciating her and loving her character Afza and those who are not liking this are sending her hate messages and are questioning her religion, in fact, her relatives ask her as to why she took up this role why is she dragging this issue.
She added that she gave her hater's nice answer that what is wrong is wrong and just because it's related to her religion as well, she said that she will not remain quiet as she doesn't support wrongdoings of people.
Talking about was she confused on her decision of doing this web series to this she said that since start she wanted to do something related to the social issue and when she was approached for Halala initially she was nervous as she herself is Muslim and also it is a debatable issue. Just because nothing like this is on TV so she grabbed the opportunity to enlighten and aware people that its wrong.
Coming back to Shafaq, she is a bold and brave actress who didn't feared taking up this show she said whenever she sees any negative comments she immediately blocks the concerned person as she doesn't like negativity around her and just because of few people she cannot put her career on stake as they are not liking her work.
