Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: You'll be glad to know how Erica Fernandes grabbed the role of Prerna in Ekta Kapoor's show!
Popular Ekta Kapoor's show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has created a lot of stir one because of the fact that it was the reboot version of the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay and the next because of the exciting star cast that include names of Parth Samthaan, Hina Khan and Erica Fernandes whom we last saw playing the role of Dr. Sonakshi Bose in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi opposite Shaheer Sheikh. The actress received immense amount of love from the audience so much so that Ekta Kapoor badly wanted her to be in the show.
In an interview that the maker gave she said that she was drooled over with the new face that seems all over Kolkata. Ekta said that she was badly waiting for her contract wth the show to get over so that she can grab her for her next project. During the show's launch event, she said that Erica's face caught her eye and her looks as well as her acting skills were something that grabbed the attention and soon the producer found out who the girl was.

Ekta further decided to give her the most popular role of Prerna with so much confidence that she would ace it. Moreover, Erica too has worked really hard in preparing for her character in the show because she wanted to give justice to the original one Shweta Tiwari who did wonders to the show and made it a brand. The reboot version is doing good and is grabbing the highlights of the audience.

Erica was highlighted a few days back when her name started being romantically attached to her co-star Parth who plays the role of Anurag in the show and it was being said that the two have started spending more time together on the sets and not only this they also leave for their homes together. However the actress opened up about the same and said that this is not the case and the rumors are false.
