Dipika Chikhlia aka Ramayan’s Sita Maa roped in for Sarojini Naidu biopic?

TV most famous yesteryear actress Dipika Chikhlia won millions of hearts after essaying the role of Maa Sita in 90s hit show Ramayan. The show made its re-entry due to the lockdown as the current shows were not able to shoot the episodes and to keep the people at home during this lockdown. The show that features Arun Govil as Ram and Sunil Lehri as Laxman and late actor Dara Singh as Hanuman is riding high on the success once again.

Coming back to Dipika, the actress is hitting the headlines as she has been offered a huge role for Sarojini Naidu’s biopic. As per KoiMoi, the actress revealed that though she hasn’t signed the film yet, however, she is very excited about the film. Well, there is no confirmation from both the parties yet but its quite sure that the actress has been roped in for the biopic.

She further revealed that the story is written by Dhiraj Mishra who will be directing the film as well. Due to the lockdown, they could discuss the role in detail, however, as soon as this lockdown is lifted they will meet once again. And if everything falls in place and only when she hears out the full script she will give nod for the role offered in the biopic.

Those who don’t know then let us tell you that Sarojini Naidu was an Indian political activist and a well-known poet. She is also one of the legendary and prominent political leaders who helped India win its independence. Well, if all goes well then this will be the first biopic on the politician’s life.
