Competition in smartphone market is again heat up with the launch of new Redmi 4 by Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi.

The device comes with finger print scanner and regarding the RAM there will be three variants of this device that will be sold in India.

Design: Redmi 4 has all polished metal back that adds to the visual appeal of the handset and helps in a comfortable grip. It has a 5-inch display with an aesthetic edge with 2.5D curved glass.

The screen is crisp and bright and the most interesting thing is that it is readable under direct sunlight.

The navigation buttons are placed right below the screen.

Processor: The phone is powered by an octa-core processor chip and is 20 % more power efficient than Redmi Note 3.

The company has launched Redmi 4 in three variants: 2GB RAM+16GB storage, 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+64GB storage.

Performance: The general performance of the Redmi 4 is quite decent as the device can handle more things well.

You will find the device running smoothly without crashes and games like Subway Surfers played perfectly on the device.

The best part is that the phone does not heat up too quickly.

Battery life: The battery life of this device is really good as it houses non-removable 4100 mAh battery with 18 days standby.

The phone takes nearly two hours to get fully charged.

Android: The device runs on MIUI 8 with Android N Preview.

Camera: It sports 13MP CMOS camera that aims to give you stunning images in low light with full HD 1080p video recording and f/2.0 aperture.

Redmi 4 comes with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) with ultra-fast focusing especially to capture moving objects.

There is also a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture that makes your selfies good enough to upload on social media platforms.

In addition, the camera app is loaded with the lot of features even for selfies.

Under this price point, its one of the good camera that you will notice in this device.

Price- All the three variants are priced at Rs 6,999 (16 GB), Rs 8,999 (32 GB) and Rs 10,999 (64 GB), respectively.
