A study says that the content of your post is not the culprit for not managing to get enough likes, rather it is the timings of the post.

So what's the best time to post?

The bustle.com reported that the study conducted by Lithium Technologies says the best time to post on Facebook is on weekdays during working hours and then again between 7 pm and 8 pm.

It also says that weekends witness a major drop-off in reactions. So if you have something really big to share, hold on till Monday afternoon and then you are ready to rock on the social media.

What the researchers say?

"The probability that an audience member reacts to a message may depend on several factors, such as his daily and weekly behavior patterns, his location or time-zone, and also the volume of other messages competing for his attention," said researchers from Lithium Technologies.

Researchers added that the post timings are of crucial importance for businesses which are trying to grow and connect with potential consumers in different areas.
