From dark mode to blocked contact notice: Top WhatsApp features you should look forward to in 2020

The social media giant WhatsApp has more than 300 million active users across the world. While this number may sound grand , it dosen’t not stop WhatsApp from launching more features to the chat app.

As the year 2019 draws to an end, we list some of the top WhatsApp features which you should expect in 2020.


Dark Mode:

The dark mode for WhatsApp has been under development for quite sometime now and could be brough into being soon. As of now there is no official statement in the context but the reports indicates that the company is working on the feature and could launch it soon.

Blocked Contact Notice:

WhatsApp has been seen working on this handy feature. This feature will give users one tap access to unlock the contact that they have blocked. When users enable the Blocked Contact Notice feature in the app, every time they block a contact WhatsApp will display a bubble in the chat window that will allow one tap access to unblock the contact. Te WhatsApp would display an alike message when users want to unblock a contact.

Delete Messages:

The chat app is also said to be working on new delete message feature which would delete texts automatically after a given time span. The feature will be accessible for both private and group chat.
