NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly returns to Earth after #YearInSpace; Twitter rejoices in glory

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth today after spending a record 340 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS), which he referred to as #YearInSpace.

Kelly was accompanied by Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko. Kelly and Kornienko did some groundbreaking research in space. Kelly broke the record of a longest single stay in space by a US astronaut by spending 340 days, while Kornienko is now the fifth Russian on the list for the lengthiest mission.

As Kelly and Kornienko touched Earth, Twitter erupted in joy with netizens celebrating the home-coming of the two astronauts.
