NASA astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth today after spending a record 340 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS), which he referred to as #YearInSpace.
Kelly was accompanied by Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko. Kelly and Kornienko did some groundbreaking research in space. Kelly broke the record of a longest single stay in space by a US astronaut by spending 340 days, while Kornienko is now the fifth Russian on the list for the lengthiest mission.
