SNAP 2016 exam on 18 December; application starts on 22 August

The important dates for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test - SNAP 2017 - are out. The national level management aptitude test will be held on 18 December, 2016. Online applications for test registration will commence on 22 August and continue till 22 November, 2016. SNAP 2017 results will be declared on 9 January, 2017.

SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to MBA, offered by 13 SIU affiliated institutes. A two-hour exam, SNAP is an objective type paper-based test.

The test has four sections:

English Language: 40 Marks (40 questions)

Quantitative Aptitude and Data Sufficiency: 40 Marks (40 questions)

General Awareness: 40 Marks (40 questions)

Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 30 Marks (60 questions)

Total: 180 Marks (150 questions)

On the basis of their overall percentile in SNAP Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

The final selection will be based on the following parameters:

SNAP score: 50 (SNAP score out of 180 scaled down to 50)

Group Exercise (GE): 10

Personal Interaction (PI): 30

Writing Ability Test (WAT): 10

Total: 100

GE - PI will be held from 2 to 12 February, 2017.

Some of the top colleges accepting SNAP scores are Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) - Pune and Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies & Research (SICSR).
