UAE Box Office: Tovino Thomas, ​​​​Aishwarya Lekshmi​'s hit film Mayaanadhi​ to be released on March 1

UAE fans of Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas have a reason to rejoice as the actor's hit film Mayaanadhi is set to hit the screens soon. The romantic thriller, which had released in India as 2017 Christmas release has been directed by Aashiq Abu. Jointly produced by Aashiq Abu and Santhosh T Kuruvilla, Mayaanadhi starred Aishwarya Lekshmi of Nivin Pauly's Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela fame as the female lead.

Upon it's release, Mayaanadhi had stiff competition from four major Christmas releases including Masterpiece and Aadu 2. However, Mayaanadhi managed to impress the audience thanks to a well-written story line and commendable performances from its lead cast, Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The terrific word-of-mouth has worked in favor of the film to do steady collections and post a healthy total at the Box Office.

And now, after two-months of its India theatrical release, Mayaanadhi is all set to hit the cinemas across the UAE on March 1. The Malayalam youth icon confirmed the UAE release date to this writer in an exclusive interview for Catch.

Mayaanadhi also starred an ensemble star cast including Harish Uthaman, Ilavarasu, Leona Lishoy and Darshana Rajendran. The music of the film composed by Rex Vijayan turned out to be a hit as well.
