Tamil superstar Ajith and director AR Murugadoss to revive Mirattal?
Tamil superstar Ajith and director AR Murugadoss are likely to team up again for a new film, named Mirattal. The shooting of the project was earlier planned to commence in January 2016 but was later dropped due to various reasons.
And now, the director-actor duo is likely to collaborate again as AR Murugadoss uploaded a poster of Mirattal featuring Thala Ajith as the cover page of his Twitter account. If this speculation is correct, then the Billa actor and the Ghajini director will be teaming up after a long gap of 15 years.
Interestingly, AR Murugadoss made his Kollywood debut by directing Ajith in Dheena in 2001. The action entertainer garnered positive reviews and proved to be a Box Office success. However, post-Dheena, the actor-director duo hasn't done any film together. But Murugadoss has stated on many occasions that he has a tailor-made script ready for Thala and will soon team up with him for the same.
