The official teaser of Rajinikanth's upcoming film, Kabali, has created an all-time new record on You Tube.

As of 28 May, the Kabali teaser, which was unveiled on YouTube on 30 April, garnered a record 20 million views - the first teaser of an Indian film to achieve this feat. It is a remarkable achievement considering the fact the teaser has garnered this milestone in just 29 days.

Kabali features Rajnikanth in the role of an ageing don. The 67-second teaser introduces viewers to Rajinikanth's character Kabali. And in a whistle-podu dialogue, the superstar goes on to say that he is no ordinary gangster. Sporting John Lennon glasses and three-piece suit, the 65-year old is referred to as fire.

The teaser ends with a shot of Rajinikanth from the 1970s, where he's seen walking out of a restaurant, flipping his hair back in his inimitable fashion. Kabali seems to be Rajinikanth's big ticket to conquer the film world after his previous films, Lingaa, and Kochadaiiyan proved to be Box Office duds.
