Pulimurugan has successfully completed 75-theatrical days across the cinemas of UAE on Monday. Directed by Vysakh and bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupadam, the action-entertainer hit the UAE screens on 3 November 2016. Pulimurugan stars Mohanlal in the titular role of a hunter, Murugan.

And on Tuesday, Pulimurugan has emerged as the third highest running film at the UAE box office. The Lalettan blockbuster has raced past the 2015 Bollywood Eid release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan's record to do so. Upon it's release, the Salman Khan starrer ran for 75-theatrical days across the cinemas of UAE. Pulimurugan is still running to packed houses across the limited screens in Sharjah and Dubai. The film is now only behind Mohanlal's 2013 blockbuster Drishyam and the 1997 Hollywood classic Titanic at the UAE box office. Drishyam holds the highest running film in UAE with 125 days while the Leonardo Dicaprio - Kate Winslet love drama still retained the number two spot with 110 theatrical days.

Pulimurugan has so far collected an excellent Rs. 37 crore at the UAE Box Office. Pulimurugan has broken the lifetime collections of many Bollywood blockbusters including Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang and Aamir Khan starrer PK%
