Kaashmora first look: Karthi's demonic warrior avatar hits the right note

The official first look of the much-awaited Karthi starrer Kaashmora is finally out and has left the Indian film fraternity highly impressed.

The poster has gone viral across on Facebook and Twitter. Written and directed by Gokul of Rowthiram and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, Kaashmora is produced by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Described as a historical entertainer, the movie reportedly includes elements of horror, action, and comedy.

Karthi, who plays a warrior, is revealed to have bald head and a moustache with a thick beard. He is seen wearing a demonic smile, standing in the middle of a field littered with bodies of hundreds of dead soldiers. Kaashmora is touted as the most expensive film of Karthi's career. The actor is reportedly donning three different characters in the film which is a supernatural thriller with fantasy elements. According to media reports, Kaashmora is set in two different time periods; one in ancient times and other in the current time period.

The film stars Nayanthara and Sri Divya as main female leads. Kaashmora also stars Vivek, Manisha Yadav, Siddharth Vipin and Jangiri Madhumitha. The music of the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan of Kabali fame.

Kaashmora is slated to hit the screens on Diwali 2016.
