Aam Aadmi Party candidate from East Delhi, Atishi broke down at a press conference on Thursday after her party accused BJP rival Gautam Gambhir of circulating ‘derogatory’, ‘scurrious’ pamphlets on her, ahead of sixth phase polling—as Delhi votes on Sunday.
Taking to Twitter, Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted: "Never imagined Gautam Gambhir to stoop so low."
While trying to read out the contents of the pamphlet, AAP leader broke down and claimed that the circulated by cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir at a BJP election rally.
"Never imagined Gautam Gambhir to stoop so low. How can women expect safety if people wid such mentality are voted in? Pamphlet states that 'she is a very good example of a mixed breed'," Atishi said on Thursday.
