Shocking! Youth sets off and lit 'sutli bomb in mouth of a 3-year-old girl on Diwali eve in Meerut; critical
In a shocking incident, a three-year girl was severely injured and in critical condition after a Diwali firecracker was lit up in her mouth by a mischievous youth in Meerut. As per reports, the girl was rushed to a nearby medical facility where her condition was described as critical.
The incident took place at the Milak village on the Daurala road in Meerut on Tuesday. The police have lodged an FIR against the youth and have launched man-hunt for him.
The girl's father, Shashi Kumar named a local youth, Harpal in his complaint. The accused went to the girl, who was playing outside her house and stuffed a 'sutli bomb' in her mouth and lit the fuse, said the victim's father.
The dangerous bomb exploded in the girl's mouth, causing serious injuries to the minor. The girl has received 50 stitches and her throat has also been infected, further worsening her health condition.
