Rajasthan Horror: 16-year-old girl allegedly murdered after being raped, body found in farm field

In yet another shocking rape case reported in Rajasthan where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by two men.

According to timesnownews.com reports, the girl was said to be from a minority community, was found dead in a farm field in the Barmer district of the state.

Barmer SP was alerted about the incident on Monday. According to reports, the body of a teenager was found in Suala village and her throat had been slit. Reportedly, the body of the victim was thrown in the field. The accused are still at large.

Investigation was launched:

After receiving the inputs about the case, the senior cops visited the crime spot and launched a probe into the case.

On the other hand, the villagers had staged a protest and demanded the arrest of the accused. The locals also jammed the NH-68 by putting stones and trees on the road. Later, SDO Mahaveer Singh Jodha also reached the highway with administration teams.

Jodha assured the villagers and also asked them to open the jam. The Times of India reported.

The family of the deceased girl also approached the police and lodged a complaint against the three persons.

One of the accused men is the owner of a farm located behind the aggrieved family’s property. According to reports, the three men allegedly abducted the girl and raped her. It was further said that the accused men also slit the throat of a 16-year-old girl and her body was abandoned in a field.

Following the complaint, the police sent teams to nab the suspects. However, the family members of the deceased teenager refused to give her body for a postmortem before the arrest of the suspects.

The cops also suspect rape but it will be confirmed only after the post-mortem is conducted.
